Hours after Jaguars running back Denard Robinson was cited for careless driving for his off-the-field incident earlier this month, charges were not brought against linebacker Dan Skuta stemming from his arrest in Orlando last month.
The Orange County Clerk’s Office posted the notice of no charges late Thursday afternoon.
“From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution,” the no-information notice read.
Skuta was arrested June 19 on misdemeanor first-degree battery following an incident in which he allegedly struck a woman.
Days after the incident, Skuta’s lawyer, Mark NeJame, said his client was innocent and predicted no charges would be filed.
