Entering Week 6, the Jaguars’ 11 sacks are tied for 12th in the league, not bad considering they’re getting basically nothing from designated top pass rusher Chris Clemons (one sack).
When the Jaguars send four rushers: A sack on 3.5 percent of the drop-backs (six of 171).
When the Jaguars send an extra pressure: A sack on 10.6 percent of the drop-backs (five of 47).
Translation: Blitz more often.
Defensive coordinator Bob Babich has dialed up more pressures in the last two weeks.
