Jaguars Insider: Examining a downtrodden AFC South

Not even the NFC South, last year’s doormat division whose champion (Carolina) finished 7-8-1, was as bad through three games as the AFC South is so far.

Houston, Indianapolis, Tennessee and the Jaguars are tied for first – or last – with 1-2 records.

This is pitifully rare.

Searching the archives, this is the first time in 10 years that every division team has been under .500 after three games.

The common themes among the Texans, Colts, Jaguars and Titans: All are minus in turnover ratio, all have lost a home game and all have issues (Houston’s offense, Indianapolis’ interceptions, the Jaguars’ takeaways and Tennessee’s pass protection).
