With Jacksonville filling their vacant offensive coordinator after hiring Jay Gruden, Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone will take on a new responsibility immediately — finding the team’s next quarterbacks coach. Former Jaguars quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich announced shortly before the season ended he would be accepting an opportunity to become the head coach of the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos.
Marrone emphasized a collective effort with Gruden to fill the team’s vacant position coaching slot. There will also be a decision to be made on whether or not Gruden could simply man both the coordinator and quarterbacks coach position, something Marrone is familiar with doing.
