The Jacksonville Jaguars held a press conference on Thursday to introduce some of their new free agent signings and talk about other positions and where else they could go during 2018 NFL free agency. One interesting comment made by general manager Dave Caldwell was about the quarterback position.
Most figured the Jaguars would just re-sign Henne, but Caldwell mentioned that they have a plan for the back up quarterback position and it doesn’t necessarily need to be a veteran.
"The plan is to get a backup quarterback. It doesn't have to be a veteran.
