Per a team source, the Jaguars later this morning will announce a one-year contract extension for coach Gus Bradley.
Bradley signed a four-year contract in January 2013 and this will take him through the 2017 season.
General manager Dave Caldwell hinted last week during a radio appearance that an extension was in the eventual offing.
Owner Shad Khan announced five days before the Jan. 3 season finale at Houston that Bradley would be back for 2016 and the source believes the extension will help the Jaguars in pursuing free agents.
“And continuity is important to Shad,” the source said.
