The Jacksonville Jaguars are doing their best to test the heart strength of their fans. They dominate games that—on paper—look to be tough matchups (such as their 35-6 win over the Chargers), then let the 3-8 Arizona Cardinals and the 2-9 Las Vegas Raiders take them into overtime, barely sneaking away with a win. Players look great, then...not so much.
As a result of this up-and-down season, we've seen the team surge and sag in the NFL Power Rankings around the league on a weekly basis. You've only had to read a few of my articles to know how I feel about these rankings (ie, they mean almost nothing), but they can still be fun to watch, especially when the Jaguars have beaten three of the teams often ranked above them (looking at you, ESPN).
