Jaguars first look: Chargers lose best player in debacle

1. CHARGERS WITHOUT BEST PLAYER

The Jaguars sustained a sucker punch loss Sunday to Green Bay, driving to the Packers’ 14 before losing possession on downs with 14 seconds remaining. That’s nothing compared to what happened to San Diego. Playing at Kansas City, the Chargers led 24-3 with 6:02 left in the third quarter and 27-10 with 13:24 remaining, but lost 33-27 in overtime. It was the largest come-from-behind win in Chiefs history.

Said Chargers coach Mike McCoy: “I wouldn’t say it’s a lack of killer instinct; I would say it was a lack of execution in all three phases in the fourth quarter.
