The Jacksonville Jaguars have liked what they have seen out of rookie pass rusher Josh Allen so far in the 2019 NFL preseason. Allen had his breakout performance, wrecking havoc on the Miami Dolphins on national television last week and has been excellent throughout training camp. So much so that the idea of Allen being just a sub-pass rusher his rookie year seems to be an after thought.
As it should be.
“It’s obvious we have to get our best players on the field,” Jaguars defensive coordinator Todd Wash told The Florida Times-Union.
