While the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to pick up the team option on some players on Monday afternoon, such as star defensive end Calais Campbell, they decided to decline the option for Austin Seferian-Jenkins. The move was not unexpected, as Seferian-Jenkins tweeted what seemed like a good bye to Jaguars fans back in January, the team officially stated a decision had not been made yet.
Well, it’s now been made.
There was a lot of excitement for Seferian-Jenkins when he was signed but he appeared in just five games this year, catching 11 passes for 90 yards and one touchdown.
