Jaguars DE Dante Fowler on season-ending knee injury: 'Nasty feeling'

The Jaguars ruled rookie defensive end Dante Fowler out for the season because of the left ACL injury he sustained an hour into Friday’s mini-camp practice.

Coach Gus Bradley said he was told Fowler only sustained ACL damage and that no surgery date has been set.

Bradley and Fowler met with the media.

Fowler said when he crumbled to the turf, it was a “nasty feeling.”

“I planted on my left leg … my weight shifted one way and my foot got caught in the dirt,” he said.

Fowler later added of the workout: “It was a great first hour.
