Jaguars defensive end Chris Smith has been the busiest member of the team’s defense through two preseason games.
Don’t expect that to change this week.
Smith has played the most snaps (88 total against the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) of any defensive player, and coach Gus Bradley suggested Tuesday that the third-year player will again have a large role against Cincinnati as the coaching staff monitors his development prior to making roster cuts.
“He’s been impressive,” Bradley said. “He has been. Look to him to get a little bit more opportunity even this week.
