Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin suspended four games

Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin has been suspended for the first four regular season games without pay for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing substances.

Colvin will be eligible to participate in the Jaguars’ off-season program and training camp/preseason, but will then begin serving his ban. He will miss the Week 4 matchup with Indianapolis on Oct. 2 at London’s Wembley Stadium.

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Colvin said: “I made a mistake and I will take full responsibility for it. I apologize to my family, the Jaguars organization, especially my coaches and teammates, as well as all the Jaguars fans that have been supportive of since I was drafted here in 2014.
