Jaguars coach Gus Bradley hinted earlier this week that standout defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks might not be ready for the season opener against Carolina on Sept. 13.
Marks tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the regular-season finale at Houston on Dec. 28.
Bradley conducted a conference call with reporters on Saturday and maintained a reserved tone regarding Marks' status for the opener.
"How much he can progress in the next couple of weeks is a little bit of an unknown," Bradley said. "I don't want to take away his spirit of thinking that he could.
