JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Chris Clemons is vowing to be more productive this season.
The 33-year-old Clemons, who skipped the voluntary part of the team's offseason training program, showed up for the start of a mandatory, three-day minicamp Tuesday and took part in the two-hour practice.
Clemons checked in at 248 pounds - down about 12 pounds from last season's playing weight - and believes his individual work will pay dividends this fall.
He says ''it's going to be a different Chris Clemons than you seen last year.
