Jaguars blown out by Patriots on first road trip of the season

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — A three-and-out on the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) first series proved to be a preview of what was to come on the team's first road trip of the season. The New England Patriots (3-0) weren't very kind hosts, as the home team dismantled and dominated the Jaguars, 51-17, on Sunday.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles had a rough performance, completing 17-of-33 passes for 242 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception. His top target, wide receiver Allen Robinson, caught four of those passes for 68 receiving yards.

The Jaguars defense was equally ineffective, allowing scores on each of the Patriots first nine drives.
