Jaguars being cautious with Gardner Minshew’s injury

The one name the Jacksonville Jaguars did not want to see on their injury report on Wednesday was quarterback Gardner Minshew, who was hit in the knee in the final moments of the 26-24 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon.

Minshew was limited on the practice field. The only other quarterback on the active roster is Josh Dobbs, who was acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers for a fifth-round draft pick in 2020. When head coach Doug Marrone met with the media on Wednesday, he said the team would use caution with their rookie and Dobbs would see time with the first string as well.
