In past years, the Jacksonville Jaguars hired executives and coaches with past NFL experience in hopes of recreating the success they had with their previous teams. However, they bucked the trend when they assembled their coaching staff and front office following the ousting of Doug Pederson and Trent Baalke. Now, the Jags are expecting one of the youngest cores in the whole league to turn things around.
Whereas Pederson led the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl and Baalke turned the San Francisco 49ers into a contender in the early 2010s, their replacements in Jacksonville are holding their respective positions for the first time.
