The Jaguars waited throughout the spring and summer to have their five best offensive linemen healthy and available before the unit debuted in the third preseason game.
Plan A lasted less than seven quarters of the regular season.
Already expected to be without left tackle Kelvin Beachum (concussion) for Sunday’s game against Baltimore, the Jaguars could be without center Brandon Linder, who sustained a sprained knee in Wednesday’s practice. He missed Thursday’s workout.
If the Jaguars decide to move left guard Luke Joeckel to left tackle, they will have new starters at three positions: Left tackle, left guard (Chris Reed) and center (Tyler Shatley).
