The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted first-year wide receiver Larry Pinkard from the team’s practice squad, and activated fourth-year defensive back Calvin Pryor and rookie wide receiver Dede Westbrook from the team’s reserve/injured list to the 53-man active roster.
To make room, the Jaguars waived second-year defensive tackle Sheldon Day and third-year wide receiver Jaelen Strong, and placed seventh-year WR Arrelious Benn on the team’s reserve/injured list with a knee injury.
Pinkard previously spent time with the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders before signing with Jacksonville in April.
