ATLANTA | Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin now faces perhaps the biggest challenge of his career.
That includes recovering from a torn ACL at the Senior Bowl prior to being chosen by the Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2014 draft.
The third-year veteran must begin serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performing-enhancing substances. The suspension was announced on April 8, and Colvin immediately apologized for his mistake.
The 24-year-old Colvin has been able to practice, attend meetings and play in the preseason. He sat out Thursday’s preseason finale at Atlanta with a minor back injury.
