FOXBOROUGH, MASS. | New England tight end Rob Gronkowski has praise heaped on him weekly.
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley inadvertently gave Gronkowski the ultimate compliment following New England’s 51-17 victory on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
“I thought we did a fairly decent job against him,” Bradley said.
Fairly decent?
Gronkowski caught four passes for a game-high 101 yards.
New England quarterback Tom Brady targeted Gronkowski immediately. The Patriots opened with a 3-yard run.
Then, it was Gronk Time.
Brady completed a 10-yard pass to Gronkowski, who was clearly open.
On the next play, Gronkowski again got a free release, caught an easy intermediate pass and turned it into a 43-yard gain.
