Halfway through the Jacksonville Jaguars slate of regular season games in 2015, it’s hard not to be disappointed with the team’s 2-6 record. While 2 wins is a decided improvement over the first 8 games compared to 2013 and 2014, the Jaguars have shot themselves in the foot multiple times and lost 2, maybe 3 games that they should’ve won.

Excuses aside, the Jaguars are not a very good football team. There are glimpses of brilliance here and there, particularly on the offensive side of the football thanks to Blake Bortles and his young receivers, but the Jaguars are clearly a step or two behind the teams at the top of the AFC.
