The Jacksonville Jaguars moved one step closer to legitimate playoff contention last week when they defeated the Tennessee Titans 19-13 at home on Thursday night. It was a tough victory, one that highlighted a lot of the strengths and weaknesses we’ve consistently seen from the team over the course of the season.
The defense played well for most of the game, shutting down the running game and preventing big plays, but they continue to have issues rushing the passer. Offensively, Blake Bortles had a hard time pushing the ball down the field and finishing in the red zone, but he managed to put together a game winning drive (albeit one play) when the team needed it.
