It’s Monday morning which means it’s time for me to look back at Friday’s predictions and see just how horribly wrong I was about the Jaguars’ latest tire fire. I was in a rare mood last week, predicting exclusively positive things for the Jacksonville Jaguars including a home win against the Houston Texans.
Well, I learned my lesson and I absolutely won’t be picking the Jaguars in another game for the rest of the season, at least while Gus Bradley is still the head coach.
There’s plenty of blame to go around for this week’s loss – Blake Bortles throwing a trio of interceptions, Julius Thomas dropping balls and running wrong routes, absolutely no pass rush whatsoever – but the bulk of the responsibility falls on Bradley, a defensive coach who for the third straight week has made a replacement level quarterback look like an All-Pro.
