Barely 20 years into their existence, the Jacksonville Jaguars don’t have the same rich history as the NFL teams who have been taking the field since the early 1900’s. Breaking it down even more, the Jaguars haven’t really done many things classified as noteworthy in the last 7 or 8 years.
Don’t be fooled however, because the first few years of the Jaguars’ existence as an NFL franchise was filled with a multitude of memorable events. Names like Mark Brunell, Fred Taylor, Jimmy Smith, Keenan McCardell, and Tony Boselli were nationally renowned and led a Jaguars squad that perennially contended for the playoffs in the late 90’s.
