A night after surprising most with the selection of defensive tackle Taven Bryan in the first round of the draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars bolster the offense in round two with the selection of wide receiver D.J. Chark.
Some expected the Jaguars to select a wideout on night one, and while that did not come to fruition, the team didn’t wait much longer to provide a pass catcher to the offense. Chark, a product of LSU, is the best of both worlds at the position. Chark is a speedy wide receiver, but also provides a desirable size, standing at 6’3″.
