Brian Hoyer was exposed in the playoffs as being a sub-standard quarterback. But before he got there, he beat the Jacksonville Jaguars soundly in the regular season.
In fact he looked like an All-Pro QB, going 24 of 36 for 393 yards and three touchdowns in their first meeting and 25 for 40 for 249 yards and a touchdown and an interception in the second. All told, the Jags let Hoyer accumulate over 600 yards in offense and go 4:1 in touchdowns to interceptions in two games.
Hopefully they’ve managed to put that past behind them.
Now featuring the seventh best passing defense in the NFL, the Jags have a chance to get revenge.
