Over the last three seasons, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ pass defense has been ranked (in reverse chronological order) 29th, 22nd, and 25th. Make no mistake, those rankings in 2013 and 2014 weren’t because the defense was particularly good, it was simply that the run defense was also atrocious and teams opted to run rather than pass.
Now, with the right personnel in place to finally actually defend the pass and execute Gus Bradley’s defense, the Jags should be in better shape. It’s taken time to get there, but the Jags have finally got the right pieces in the right spots.
