Jacksonville Jaguars re-sign backup quarterback Chad Henne

In a move sure to send shockwaves across the NFL landscape, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Thursday they re-signed backup quarterback Chad Henne to a two-year deal.

Quarterback Chad Henne has agreed to terms on a two-year, $8M deal with the #Jaguars, a source said. Incentives built in as well.

The money seems like a lot for a backup quarterback who, quite frankly, isn’t exactly good, but the salary hit is not a problem at all. This is a drop in the bucket for the Jaguars, especially considering they should still have ample space over the next 2+ years.
