The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the New York Giants on Saturday night 22-12. The Jags fell to 1-1 so far this preseason but, as we all know, the outcome of these games doesn’t really matter.
Instead, it’s about evaluating the talent on the team and ensuring that when the roster is pared down the right players are cut and the right players are kept.
The Jaguars seem to be in a bit of a conundrum. They have a multitude of players who are stepping up and not very many who aren’t. This is far better than the worst-case scenario of having a multitude of under-performers.
