Jacksonville Jaguars one of the non-playoff teams likely to make 2016 postseason

It happens every year – a team nobody expects to rise up and make a push for the playoffs sneaks into the postseason and ,more likely than not, loses in the first round. Even if the team making the playoffs was projected to be better by pundits, it’s still somewhat shocking when a new team breaks into the postseason.

This being a Jacksonville Jaguars blog, it begs the question of whether or not the Black and Teal will be participating in the 2016 NFL playoffs.

There is still entirely too much offseason left to make a serious determination of who might make the playoffs, but the analytics fiends over at Pro Football Focus went ahead and listed the Jaguars as the 5th most likely non-playoff team to make the 2016 postseason:
