Jacksonville Jaguars: Making Deals for Players or Draft Capital?

The Jaguars haven’t sunken into the deep abyss of the NFL just yet. But it looks that way. The franchise three years removed from an improbable run to the AFC title game in 2017 is now a shell of its former self. The roster continues to get a makeover and discussions about veteran players being jettisoned elsewhere are gaining traction like a hot afternoon on a NASCAR speedway.

These Jaguars, or at least the front office, aren’t done making deals to free up cap space or acquire draft picks for April. The moves are being done in a calculated fashion, with the intention of helping this team win more games than it loses in 2020.
