There’s a lot of turnover in the NFL year in and year out. This is good because teams that weren’t good the season before can suddenly turn into a playoff contender. The Jacksonville Jaguars would like to be one of those squads. However, this is a development year and it will be a while before they turn things around.
The Jaguars organization hired Urban Meyer as the head coach because he’s had success everywhere he’s go. Nevertheless, this rebuild is without a doubt the biggest challenge in his coaching career. It won’t be easy though. That’s why it wasn’t surprising to see Meyer ask fans to “hang in there”.
