More From Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a bad team, but they also haven’t had luck on their side and that’s contributed to their league-worst 1-5 record. Their unfortunate trend of key injuries began in the offseason, barely an hour into their first rookie mini-camp when prized first round pick Dante Fowler Jr. went down with a season ending knee injury. Things didn’t get much better through the preseason when Julius Thomas suffered a hand injury, but the Jaguars thankfully have him back now at full strength.
The Jaguars injury situation as piled up enough for ESPN to rank them as the 6th most “banged up” team in the league:
Injuries have really hurt the Jaguars in the pass rush and at receiver.
