Jacksonville Jaguars Add Five Players from Rookie Minicamp

The Jacksonville Jaguars rookie minicamp got a lot of headlines due to the injury to 2015 third overall pick Dante Fowler Jr., knocking him out for the entire 2015 season. While we all focused on Fowler’s knee, the other rookies without contracts were fighting to make the Jaguars’ roster.

Five young players have succeeded in impressing the coaching staff enough to get a shot with the Jaguars roster going forward.

Defensive tackle Richard Ash of Western Michigan (three years at Michigan before transferring)had 7.5 sacks his senior season.

Also added was Cap Capi, a defensive end from Akron, where he completed his final two seasons of eligibility after completing two at Colorado State.
