Taking a step backward in 2015, the Jacksonville Jaguars defense continued to post some of the worst statistics the franchise has ever seen.
Defensive coordinator Bob Babich was rightly fired and has since been replaced by defensive line coach Todd Wash. While that isn’t the most inspiring move by head coach Gus Bradley, it will hopefully yield some results as he re-tools Bradley’s defense a bit to increase pressure with the linemen.
Bradley’s defense depends on the front four consistently creating pressure on their own, with limited help in the form of blitzes. This also puts increased pressure on the secondary, which essentially lives or dies based on the pressure created by the defensive line.
