The 2015 NFL Draft is finally here, and the Jacksonville Jaguars roll into this year’s festivities with a full slate of draft picks. While 7 picks is the norm for most teams, the number seems light given the Jaguars arsenal last year. Going into the draft with 11 selections in 2014, general manager David Caldwell used his draft capital to maneuver around and target players, ultimately leaving the draft with 9 prospects.
This year, David Caldwell will have to work with the allotted 7, but don’t count out the Jaguars as an active trade partner. Here are where all of the Jaguars’ draft selections lie heading into the draft:
First round, Pick #3: Third overall selection
Second round, Pick #4: 36th overall selection
Third round, Pick #3: 67th overall selection
Fourth round, Pick #4: 103rd overall selection
Fifth round, Pick #3: 139th overall selection
Sixth round, Pick #4: 180th overall selection
Seventh round, Pick #3: 220th overall selection
As we’ve become accustomed to, the Jacksonville Jaguars were awarded no compensatory picks.
