INSIDE THE GAME
Hays Carlyon
When Tennessee eventually surrounds quarterback Marcus Mariota with a competent supporting cast, the Jaguars defense must be much better.
The Titans have a quarterback. One that could dominate the Jaguars unless tremendous strides are made.
That was evident as Mariota ran for a touchdown and did not commit a turnover in a 19-13 loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night at EverBank Field. The rookie has now played four road games without throwing an interception.
Mariota, as a rookie, is by far the best offensive player Tennessee has finishing 22-of-35 passing for 231 yards.
