The Jacksonville Jaguars were dealing with a handful of injuries after the loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7, so their BYE couldn't have come at a better time. Now, they're healthy and ready to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9.
In his first media availability session after the BYE, Liam Coen talked about the much-needed break players got, noting that they had the opportunity to have a physical and mental break.
"Yeah, it's huge," Coen responded when asked how important the BYE was (1:11 mark). "We obviously had some guys a little nicked, and you go through some physical football games in the early part of the season, and so you need everybody needs a reset and an opportunity to get away from it, spend some quality time with family and friends, and have that nice little mental and physical reset to now come into the building with everything ahead of us.
