Blake Bortles threw just one interception Sunday against Atlanta.
But it was a costly one that may have decided the game as the Falcons posted a 23-17 victory.
The Jaguars were at the Atlanta one yard line with 14 seconds left in the first half on the critical play and they figured they had a shot at three plays down there with that much time left.
On first down, coach Gus Bradley said that the receivers didn’t execute properly so Bortles had two options.
“In that situation, throw it away and live to fight another day,’’ Bradley said.
