Jaguars report card
Times-Union sports columnist Gene Frenette grades the Jaguars against the Tennessee Titans based on performance, effort and game circumstances.
Offense – A
After failing to score TDs on 12 of 17 previous red-zone chances, quarterback Blake Bortles provided another glimpse of his future upside by going 6-for-6. He set the franchise single-season TD passing record (27), and WR Allen Robinson did the same for receiving TDs (11). The only downside was C Stefen Wisniewski gifting Tennessee seven points by snapping a ball over Bortles’ head.
Defense – F
There have been many pathetic showings in the Jaguars’ 21-year history, but allowing 467 yards to the league’s 30th-ranked offense might be the worst.
