At the risk of sounding like a homer for predicting the Jaguars to go 9-7 and winning the AFC South last month, part of my reasoning is seeing the Indianapolis Colts in a different light.
Though you can’t take away the return of Andrew Luck and the huge lift he provides, it’s hard to see the Jaguars not sweeping Indianapolis because their roster is deeper and better. The Colts’ secondary is so suspect that it recently signed three cornerbacks, including struggling veteran Antonio Cromartie.
Remember, the Jaguars torched Indy 51-16 in their last meeting, albeit without Luck, and would have beaten the Colts on the road had kicker Jason Myers been more accurate.
