The Jaguars should be prepared to send Tom Brady a big thank you card for likely making the most difficult game on their schedule far less daunting.
No Jaguars’ 2015 regular-season match-up was more of a long shot than the Sept. 27 visit to New England. The trend from their history at Gillette Stadium is Brady performed whatever surgery necessary against Jacksonville’s defense, including that 31-20 playoff win in 2007.
But now — in easily the most incredulous punitive development in NFL history — it appears more probable than not that New England will have to beat the Jaguars in Week 3 without Brady’s services.
