Nobody on the Jaguars’ maligned offensive line has taken the shots of criticism as fuel more than left tackle Luke Joeckel. The No. 2 overall draft pick in 2013 was brought in to stabilize the unit, not see it become an object of derision.
“It definitely didn’t sit well. I was driven by that,” Joeckel said. “Every guy has that bad taste in their mouth, leaving the season like we did last year. We have to be better, and we’re going to be better.”
Harsh as it sounds, I’m not sure any position group in franchise history was more ineffective than the O-line the past two years.
