JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Ace Sanders remains without an NFL home.
The former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver wasn't claimed off waivers on Monday. He was cut by the Jaguars on Friday and was subject to the waivers process after only playing two NFL seasons.
Sanders was a fourth round pick of the Jaguars in 2013 and played in 27 games (four starts) for the franchise. After an impressive rookie season where collected 51 catches for 484 receiving yards and a touchdown, Sanders was held to just six catches for 55 yards last season.
Sanders was suspended for the first four games of last season after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
