It took him a while. But after getting released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency, wide receiver Gabe Davis has latched onto a new team just before the start of the regular season.
Adam Schefter of ESPN just reported that Davis will be joining the Buffalo Bills after spending his first four NFL seasons with them. There's a caveat, though. He won't be signed to the active roster but rather the practice squad. In the offseason, he visited the Pittsburgh Steelers but didn't reach a deal, seemingly because he was still recovering from injury.
