Veteran offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, leaving the Jaguars after a single season.
Wisniewski, 27, didn’t miss a snap last year for the Jaguars, but the club did not try to re-sign him.
For the Eagles, Wisniewski is expected to compete for a starting spot at left guard, a position he hasn’t played since his rookie year with Oakland in 2011.
The Jaguars’ in-house center options to replace Wisniewski are Brandon Linder (if moved from right guard), 2014 starter Luke Bowanko or third-year player Tyler Shatley. Guard A.
