Five things to watch for in Week One of the NFL:
Seahawks try to put last year behind them
An opening game at St. Louis would normally seem like a routine game for the Seahawks. They’ve won four of the last five against the Rams although they’ve lost two of their last three at St. Louis. But the Rams don’t figure to have a full house or a big home field edge because of all the speculation they are moving to Los Angeles next year. Still, it’s an important game for the Seahawks. It’s their first game since the Super Bowl fiasco when they were a yard away from a Super Bowl repeat and coach Pete Carroll decided to call a pass play.
