Five observations on Week 7 in the NFL:

Patriots, Panthers win by being one dimensional

The goal for most teams is to avoid being too one dimensional so it is more difficult for teams to defend against them. Still, being one dimensional is no problem for the Patriots and Panthers, who are both 6-0. The Patriots are second in passing and 31st in rushing. The Panthers are first in rushing and 29th in passing. In their 30-23 victory over the Jets, the Patriots rushed for 16 yards, 15 by Tom Brady. They won because Brady completed 34 of 54 passes for 355 yards, including 135 in the fourth quarter.
